Hot Sandwiches
Hi everyone, I hope your guys weekend was swell. This week I am on hot sandwiches, so in my class when you do hot sandwiches you would make breakfast in a bun in first block and after you get that done you would prep for second block when we make a hot sandwich for lunch. After break (recess) you are to then put a pot of hot water on for hot dogs and then go make your hot sandwich. If there happens to not be a hot sandwich that day then you are to prep grill cheese to be made for that day or stored for the next day. But today I had a hot sandwich to make in block two, its called an open-faced baguette, it was 1/6 of the baguette had about 50 ml of pizza sauce then 25 grams of pepperoni then, 25 grams of ham then, about 125 mL of sauteed onion and green peppers and then topped off with 25 grams of Monterrey jack cheese. I forgot to take a picture of the open-faced baguette but I did take a picture of the breakfast in a bun. The ones that are in red checkered wrapping is the bacon with the egg and cheddar cheese breakfast in a bun, the one in the blue checkered wrapping has the sausages.
